DIY Place mats

What you will need: Pattern stock paper. Clear covering adhesive covering. Ruler. Scissors. Pencil.

Step 1: Pick out a patterned sheet of stock paper to your liking.

Step 2: Measure your paper to the size you want.

Step 3: Measure and mark your covering. There should be lined graph style measurements on the back of your covering.

Step 4: Cut out your measured covering.

Step 5: Peel the adhesive layer off the covering.

Step 6: Place and stick on top of your paper, using a ruler or squeegee to even out any uneven parts. You can peel the cover off and reapply as needed and it wont rip off the pattern. You can keep retrying until you get it right.

Step 7: Cut off any access you might have. And you are finished. You can apply a covering layer on the back if you choose for extra protection.

There you have it. Really quick and easy. You can also personalize your place mats by writing your guests or family members names on them for an extra special touch. I intend on using these on the patio for earth day tomorrow. Leave a comment if you have any questions I didn't cover. Happy crafting!
